Kolade is the principal solicitor at S. A. J Legal. He has been working as a qualified solicitor since February 2018. Alongside his role as a Partner at S. A. J Legal, he also oversees and ensures the firm’s compliance and regulatory matters, in particular, with standards mandated by the Solicitors’ Regulatory Authority. Previously, he has had the privileged of working in a legal 500 firm where he garnered experience in acquiring various client visas. He has also worked at a leading media, technology, and entertainment law firm. However, his most recent position was that of a supervisor for a law firm based in the heart of central London. A unique aspect of Kolade’s practice is that along with conducting day-to-day case management, he also regularly represents his clients at the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal.
Kolade has acquired over eight years of work experience in the immigration sector. During his career, Kolade has not only amassed invaluable and extensive experience but has also successfully obtained relief for his clients in inter alia the following: leave to remain, indefinite leave to remain, British citizenship, asylum, EU Matters, student visas, and deportation cases. His key highlights as an immigration solicitor include the successful revocation of a deportation order of an EEA national; which resulted in the deported client being readmitted to the UK and succeeding in his appeal despite a lengthy conviction. Kolade has also conducted pivotal work on contentious areas such as the Windrush matter, wherein he successfully acquired indefinite leave to remain for a Windrush client. In addition to the foregoing, he also assisted in successfully overturning Home Office decisions to cancel leave in TOEIC matters due to alleged deception. Kolade has also secured asylum statuses for many refugees. As of recent, Kolade’s work has expanded in dealing with complex EU Law work post Brexit, this includes the EU Settlement Scheme (durable partners) and Zambrano carers.
Kolade has a 100 percent record with Sponsor Licence applications for a range of businesses. He is involved in acquiring Sponsor Licenses in a variety of different professions – including restaurants, butchers, motor repairs, fashion brands, and property agents. He is currently undertaking an application for care workers and thus, a company in the shortage occupation list. Kolade is also responsible for dealing with Skilled Worker visas and thus, ensuring that individuals are granted status before commencing work with their Sponsor.
Kolade has been conducting divorce matters for several years. He deals with joint applications and also sole applications made. Having completed the process for many couples, Kolade is well equipped to understand the emotional dialogue and complexity that a client can face when terminating their marriage.
Kolade had been involved in an employment matter previously, where the client was successful in his racial discrimination case against a corporate company. He was actively involved at each step of the process until the remedy sought for the client was achieved. Kolade is also well-versed with the ACAS process and is able to assist in settling disputes at the initial stage before escalation to the Employment Tribunal.
