Anam completed her Masters in Professional Legal Skills from City Law School, City University, London in 2013 and passed her Bar Professional Training Course from City Law School, City University, London in 2011 while scoring “Outstanding” in Criminal Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Civil Litigation and Company Law. Upon completion of her Bar Professional Training Course, she joined Kabraji & Talibuddin in 2011 as an associate where she successfully represented various local and international clients on corporate and litigation matters. In 2014, she joined S. A. Jamali & Co as a senior associate, primarily specialising in research on contentious legal issues and drafting. Her diligence to the profession is evident by the fact that despite her motherhood responsibilities, she taught as a Company Law lecturer for undergraduate students for the external programme of the University of London based in Karachi, Pakistan and is also pursuing her professional goals.
Prior to joining S. A. J Legal team, Anam worked as an associate at Kabraji & Talibuddin, a leading litigation and corporate law firm based in Pakistan. She worked on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters with a strong focus on litigation and dispute resolution.
Anam has represented major domestic and international clients in corporate and commercial matters across sectors, most notably in the construction and engineering, banking and finance, oil and gas, energy and infrastructure. She handles oversees civil litigation matters and is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) as a registered foreign lawyer. Anam brings a diverse and extensive understanding of various laws from her past work and teaching experience.
